Sean Dorgan joined the board of FINEOS in 2008. Sean is Chairman of Ulster Bank Group, Tesco Ireland and the governing board of Dublin Institute of Technology. He is also a non-executive director of FBD Holdings and Short Brothers plc.

He was Chief Executive of IDA Ireland for nine years from 1999 to 2007 inclusive. In this time he led the organisation to continued success as one of the world’s leading inward investment agencies, positioning Ireland to win many high-value new investments against global competition.

Prior to joining IDA, Sean Dorgan was Secretary General of the Departments of Industry and Commerce and of Tourism and Trade and Chief Executive of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland.

He was Chairman of the Advisory Board for the Institute of Public Administration Public Service 2022 project,  and a member of the National Advisory Panel for FuturesIreland and of the Advisory Board for Forfas Socio-Economic Scenarios, all of which examined aspects of Ireland’s future.
