Lifewise launched in London

January 27, 2000 - London - Managed Solutions officially launched Lifewise on 27 January, 2000 at The Brewery, London. Insurers representing nearly 20 insurance companies attended the event as did representatives from other interested parties, including Andersen Consulting, PricewaterhouseCoopers and KPMG.

Lifewise is the world's first integrated front-to-back e-business solution for the insurance and banking industry. Unifying and integrating customer relationship management (CRM), workflow and administration around customer information, Lifewise is the only available solution that creates and modifies policies according to customer demands, automates every task needed to service accounts, and captures and manages information from existing or potential customers through all channels.

Lifewise's multi-channel capability means that life companies can launch new products and manage customer relationships on the web as well as through call centres, branch offices, digital TV or on brokers' laptop PCs. By combining policy creation, CRM and workflow in a single web-based system, Lifewise allows companies to slash the time it takes to develop new products from months to days.

Michael Kelly, Managing Director, and Richard Harley, Head of Business Development, explained Lifewise and its benefits for insurers. Guest speaker, Richard Griffiths, from Winchester White spoke about convergence of front and back offices in financial services'.

The launch, which coincided with the announcement of Managed Solutions' first sale of Lifewise to Dutch insurer, Royal Nederland Leven, was a huge success and Managed Solutions now looks forward to the Irish market launch of Lifewise in Dublin on 27 March, 2000.
