Managed Solutions expands into Scandinavia

June 12, 2000 - Dublin, Copenhagen - Managed Solutions Corporation, the Dublin-based financial services software specialist, has just opened a new Scandinavian office in Copenhagen. The move is part of the company's strategic plans to establish a customer base in the region.

Claus Stroh will head operations as Business Development Director and joins Managed Solutions from CSC. Stroh's role will be to enhance the company's growing reputation as a leading software vendor and to maximise sales of its component-based technologies. He has over 15 years of broad-ranging experience in the financial services sector, having previously worked with PAXUS Financial Services and as an independent consultant.

He is joined by Morten Engedal who will be responsible for sales and account management. Engedal also joins from CSC, and has previously worked for Dutch credit insurer, NCM.

"The success of Managed Solutions in the European market warranted an increased sales team to provide better geographic coverage and knowledge of specific markets," said Michael Kelly, Managing Director. It follows recent office openings in the UK, North America, and the Netherlands.

The growth in Managed Solutions' sales teams is a reflection of the growing investment being made by financial services organisations to better manage their customer relationships, improve efficiency and deliver more modern and flexible product solutions. Managed Solutions Corporation provides integrated front- to back-office solutions that co-exist with legacy administration systems and can be integrated with specialist third party systems and tools.

Recently, the company launched Lifewise, the world's first web-enabled integrated CRM, workflow and policy administration system for the life and pensions industry.
