FINEOS and smartFOCUS announce global partnership for Analytical CRM solution

August 14, 2001 - Dublin - FINEOS, Ireland's leading global provider of enterprise solutions for banking and insurance, has just announced a global partnership agreement with smartFOCUS, the high performance analysis and data mining provider. The deal enables FINEOS to enhance its core product suite with analytical CRM functionality through integration with smartFOCUS's Viper Intelligent Marketing CRM solution.

Under the agreement, the FINEOS CRM capability will be augmented with smartFOCUS's expertise in delivering analysis, visualisation and data mining solutions and will ensure that data collected from all customer contact points can be utilised to acquire, retain and grow profitable customer relationships.

Following a competitive tender, the smartFOCUS analytical CRM solution was selected because of the ease of integration with the FINEOS product suite, its support for high data volumes and ease of use.

The deal follows the recent announcement that FINEOS has partnered with Lynx Financial Systems to integrate its banking solutions suite of CRM, workflow and portal solutions with SUMMIT, the Lynx lending, savings and mortgage management system. These combined partnerships are set to deliver the first truly integrated, operational and analytical, front-to-back office CRM system for the financial services sector.
