FINEOS Technical Architecture

The FINEOS product suite is developed and deployed on the FINEOS technical architecture (FINEOS TA), a Java Enterprise Edition (J2EE)-based technology architecture. FINEOS TA has been designed for mission critical enterprise solutions, and is successfully deployed on large-scale enterprise sites. The architecture is fully service oriented architecture (SOA)-enabled, supporting ease of integration.  It is a component-based architecture that uses leading enterprise-class technologies.  FINEOS TA has achieved a number of technology certifications.

The FINEOS TA provides the following business benefits:

  • Availability, Reliability and Resilience: FINEOS TA uses clustering technologies to ensure there is no single point of failure. In the event of a node in the cluster failing, requests automatically get re-routed to another node in the cluster.

The flexible nature of FINEOS TA allows it to be easily integrated with our customers’ existing security architecture, through use of industry standards like JAAS and LDAP.
