It’s hard to believe we’re coming up on our tenth annual FINEOS Global Summit. The event has grown tremendously over the years, with greater content, more in-depth discussions, and an ever growing global audience. As we look ahead to October’s event, we’ve been reflecting on what has worked well in the past and where we can improve to make this year’s event the best yet.
This year’s theme is “Serving Today’s Digital Customer.” In working through various theme ideas, many of which included the “future customer” or “tomorrow’s customer,” it became quite clear that the customer we are talking about is here today. While many insurers are still in planning and building mode to meet future customer expectations, the reality is that other customer service industries have set the digital bar already, and we’re largely not meeting it as an industry. We aim to have thought provoking sessions and open discussions on what digital innovation looks like in the Life, Accident and Health insurance industry.
In addition, we will be announcing our 2016 Innovation & Excellence Award Winners. Past winners have provided excellent case study and best practice presentations based on their award submissions which highlight how they:
- Maximize the impact of FINEOS product capability
- Deliver excellence in customer service
- Deliver excellence in business innovation
We are currently accepting submissions for the awards. Winners receive an award at the Global Summit with press announcing the win, as well as accommodation for one presenting member of the winning organization.
In addition to presentations by industry thought leaders, FINEOS customers and FINEOS staff, we have hands-on demonstrations of the latest and greatest in FINEOS technology available throughout the conference. We also have a lot of time for networking and even some fun! This year’s special event will feature a sunset dinner cruise on San Francisco Bay with a casino night aboard.

Registration is now open for the Summit, and we would encourage our customers to register and book hotel reservations as soon as possible, as October is a very popular time of year in San Francisco, and our hotel will sell out.
