FINEOS Expands Polish Operation with Opening of New Software Centre

FINEOS expanding the team to 30, with potential to grow more within the next two years.

New facility will support FINEOS’ growing customer base around the world.

FINEOS Corporation, a global provider of core technology to the insurance and Government accident compensation industry, announces the opening of its new office facilities in Gdansk, Poland.  The new office is part of a continuing global expansion for FINEOS and will enable the creation of additional new jobs in Gdansk.

FINEOS is the world’s number one provider of group and individual claims management technology to the Life and Health insurance industry and has signed eight new customers in the current financial year.

The FINEOS Software Service Centre was established in Gdansk in April 2009 with 12 employees recruited during the first year. However, the company’s continued international success is enabling FINEOS Poland to grow to 30 people over the next 3 months.  It currently has 24 employees in Gdansk and is actively recruiting an additional 6 development and technical consultants.

The Gdansk Software Service Centre works closely with globally distributed FINEOS teams to ensure the delivery of FINEOS Claims in line with customers’ evolving requirements. The office is located in Gdansk’s main commercial centre, an area that has been growing as a major ICT hub. This is due to its highly skilled and multi-lingual employees and the increased support from local authorities to develop this sector.

The office was officially opened today by Mayor of Gdansk, Paweł Adamowicz, who said, “The strong growth of FINEOS and its continued investment and job creation in this region is very welcome. International technology organisations such as FINEOS are choosing to locate here in Gdansk due to the high level of available skills and the support we provide for foreign direct investors. We will continue to attract these businesses to the region and support FINEOS as it grows its presence here.”

FINEOS is the global market leader in Life & Health insurance claims solutions with six out of top the 20 Life & Health carriers in the US, three out of the top five carriers in Australia and similar market positions in Canada and Continental European countries. It also has a significant presence in delivering claims solutions for government accident and compensation schemes as well as having a strong claims management solution for the  London Market and General Insurance industry.
