FINEOS Announces New Partnership with Gallagher Bassett Services, Inc.

FINEOS System to Manage Workers’ Compensation Claims for New South Wales

FINEOS Corporation, a market leading provider of claims management software technology, today announced that Gallagher Bassett Services, Inc., an international risk management services firm, has selected FINEOS Claims as its core platform for its operations in Australia.  Gallagher Bassett’s mission of delivering the industry’s best outcomes for its’ clients has led it to re-platform its core operating platform in Australia to further improve and optimise its highly efficient claims management process with a scheduled rollout of work cover program system modernisation in early 2014. As part of its multi-year modernisation roadmap, Gallagher Bassett’s Australia division intends to expand FINEOS Claims core platform to support additional lines of businesses to potentially expand into other schemes. Gallagher Bassett’s Australia division (www.gallagherbassett.com.au) is the only organisation licensed as a Workers’ Compensation Scheme Agent in Victoria, NSW and South Australia.

The FINEOS Claims re-platform initiative was kicked off by Gallagher Bassett’s Australia leadership team in February of this year with FINEOS providing implementation leadership. The project will enable the optimisation of workflows and processes to complete claims-related activities enriched with intelligent hand-off processes based on user experience and skills to eliminate manual intervention. This will allow case managers to focus on the end objective of improving claimant outcomes. Service alerts will be established based on operational and regulatory guidelines to ensure claim activity takes place within permissible timeframes.
