FINEOS and Sequential announce Strategic Partnership in ANZ

Aim is to deliver improved insurance industry outcomes

FINEOS Corporation, a market leading provider of core processing systems for Life, Accident and Health insurance, today announced a strategic partnership with Sequential, an Australian specialist life insurance, superannuation and financial advice management consultancy.  The goal of the new partnership is to broaden the range of consulting services available to ANZ insurance companies and ultimately deliver improved outcomes. The partnership is timely as insurers and superannuation funds increasingly turn to customer experience as a point of differentiation, making the ability to extract maximum value from core systems more critical than ever.

Speaking at the launch of the new partnership, FINEOS CEO, Michael Kelly stated, “Our partnership with Sequential delivers on our commitment to provide not only the best software available, but also exceptional consulting capability. Sequential will significantly broaden the scope of expert consulting services available to support FINEOS clients and help them extract the maximum possible value from their investment. Sequential joins our worldwide partner ecosystem of strategic alliances partners, and technical and application partners.”

FINEOS is the leading claims software provider in the region with 13 insurance clients in live production with thousands of users and a healthy pipeline of new business. Five of the top eight ANZ insurers are already using FINEOS Claims for both group and retail business with several major deals expected to land in 2017.

Last month, FINEOS launched the FINEOS CRM Connector on the Salesforce AppExchange, to enable Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud users to easily connect to the FINEOS AdminSuite, a cloud-based core administration solution designed specifically for the group, voluntary and individual protection and benefits markets.

Sequential Managing Partner, Adrian Johnstone said, “Through our work with superannuation funds and insurers it is clear to us that more needs to be done to achieve the step change required for the insurance industry to mature. FINEOS is the stand-out technology for claims management and we’re excited to extend it with our benchmarking, organisational change management, process optimisation and project audit capabilities”.
