The Transport Accident Commission (TAC) is the Victorian Government social insurer, set up to pay for treatment and benefits for people injured in transport accidents, promote road safety and improve Victoria’s trauma system. TAC uses a case tier model to serve customers effectively whether they are in a rapid recovery, supported recovery or long-term support for independence scenarios. The new FINEOS core solution supports straight through processing of claims for rapid recovery clients, freeing up TAC’s staff from low value administrative tasks and allowing them to focus on getting more seriously injured clients’ lives back on track.
